Celebrated with Pizza and Beer

Wednesday's night ride was Carline's first night ride. That girl rides just as good at night as she does in the morning. All celebrated with Bianchi's pizza and some beer. Carline had a Pepsi.
I started my ride with Justin (aka Wildcataz); we rode for an hour then met Jeff and Carline. Carline led the pack through some critters, bunnies, a rattlesnake, and a very angry bird. I had mixed feelings seeing a snake on the trail; especially when it rattled while I rode near him. Believe it or not, it was my first time seeing a snake in the wild. I wish I could have gotten a picture of it, but it wasn't being very photogenic.
I gave my bike it's first day off since last wednesday. My legs were also thankful; but little do they know, I plan on working them Friday morning on the road bike...and Saturday with the girls. Thanks for the encouraging words tonight, Chad. Someday, I will be riding one of your endurance rides with you and Max.
