Kentucky Camp Weekend

Kentucky Camp weekend started Friday around 7ish. We arrived at the campsite after sunset (like we always do) and set up camp. We actually stayed up late that night, drinking beer, eating marshmallows and talking. Sprocket went nuts anytime someone drove by; this continued the whole weekend.
Max and another Kentucky participant went for a short ride while Michaela and I played cards in the tent. By the evening, we had a nice small party gathered around the tent. Chad almost started the first wild fire of Kentucky Camp with his10 foot tall bonfire. We blinked our blinky lights to any car driving by. By the end of the night, we decided to leave all four beer bottles on the ground to make it look like we had a wild night.
The next morning didn't start off that great; Max woke up only 45 minutes before the race. Not the time he needs for coffee, breakfast, and reading a new magazine in the outhouse. But he did wake up early enough to come in 2nd for the first lap. Yay for Max.
Max cooked up some chicken and hot dogs for everyone, and beer was had by all...well everyone except for Michaela.
Another great weekend with the family.
The start of the Kentuck Camp Epic Race, eh, I mean ride.
