Wednesday Night Rainstorm

I met Kimmeh at Starr Pass to ride with the other regulars. There was a big group of us, around seven. A storm was coming so we decided to cut the ride short; plus Vern and company started their ride an hour before the 6:30 ride. As we were starting, Conor shows up at the parking lot, finishing his ride (too good to ride with us). Everyone chats in the parking lot for a while and finally begin our ride around 7ish.

Kimmeh and my ride turned out to be more of a "practice on our skills" ride. Not much riding, more of doing sections over again. It was still fun, and critter free up until the end of the ride.

By the time we got to Bianchi's, the rain came down hard. I got a call from Dusty about our power being out. As I drove home, I learned that all of Grant, including signal lights, was out of power. I lit up the house with my HID light, and took some pics of the tree that fell over in our backyard.

As I was taking a pic, lightning also happen to strike as the shutter opened. So I managed to get a cool pic of the sky. We were out of power until 4:30 am. So I didn't get much sleep before my morning ride with Bryan and Chris at Fantasy.
