Tour for Tucson's Children

I am having the best 4Th of July. This morning, I met Chris, Conor, Kim, Vern, Ben and a few others whose names I can't remember; for the 27-mile Tour for Tucson's Children. This was my first charity/organized ride; and it couldn't have been more fun or entertaining. Kim and I lost sight of everyone a block from the start. After trying to catch up with everyone, we decided to go our own pace and beat her time from last year. But again, there were no detours or construction last year. Our finish time ended up being 1:37, pretty happy about that since I felt like a million bucks.

The Grill on Congress was calling our names after the ride. It was delicious...I need to go there again. Tonight, the fun will continue at Vern's and Kim's place. The pool will be refreshing and the beer and bar-b-que will be tasty!

Now, I'm in the middle of packing for another weekend up Mt. Lemmon. Plans are to ride and have a good time.
